Hotfix:
Hi everyone! It was brought to my attention (thanks to Boofi) that snippets of prompts could be viewed through the inspect element of the source code. This was due to file names being directly used for website assets when first uploaded. We now have a workaround where all file names will be randomly generated so vendors no longer have to worry about having their prompts exposed. We sincerely apologize for this careless mistake as well as for having to shut the site down for a few hours. We’ll keep watch to assure changes were correctly made.
Site Updates:
We also added a few aspects of the site.
- Homepage slider: There is now a homepage slider that will hold some impressive AI-generated images that we would like people to see when they view the site. Submitted images will either link to the vendor when clicked or will link to the direct listing depending on the use of the image by the vendor. If you would like to submit images to be featured, please send images to info@ibuyprompts.com. We will max the slider to around 6-10 images at a duration of 1-2 weeks.
- Display Name: We also added a way for users to change their display name after lots of requests for manual changes. We highly advise that if your username was manually changed that you go to your settings and make sure to set your display name across all parts of the site by clicking “save changes” (Manually changed names don’t have the ability to update display name in messages and permalinks). You can change your display name here.
- Future Potential Updates: There are some updates that I would like to hear more feedback on. First off we would like to set a limit on how much prompts can be listed for. I understand that getting the right prompt can be a very difficult and time-consuming task, but we believe that your prompts should be more obtainable to a greater audience.
Discord Server:
I decided to create a new discord to create a community for ibuyprompts users as well as those wanting a community for all types of AI related topics. I also added a submission channel so that I can hear all types of input and feedback in a manner that I can respond to and receive in a timely manner. Pro sellers will also recieve a pro seller role which will allow them specific channels only they can access. Please email me or send me your discord username through ibuyprompts so that give you your role. You can join the server here.
Other Notes:
I would also like to thank everyone for taking the time to you use my site. I know that many of you are very passionate about AI and are happy to see it grow. I’m glad we can share the same passion and I am thankful that many of you are willing to help this site grow. I also want to mention that I know a lot of you hope to sell some of your services soon. I will do my best to get as much traffic to the site as possible, I just ask that you please be patient as there is a lot of work still to do. That’s why I think it’s imperative that we work together so I can get the aspects of the site you need. Also please do not feel limited to only post prompts. I want this site to be a one-stop shop for AI needs, whether that be prompts, AI art, development/implementation, or educational courses. There is no end to what you can do with AI.
